"Animal" Clement was fortunate enough to be taught
by the infamous Bob Richards, who as well as being the sticks
man for legendary rocker, MAN, has played with the likes of
Clapton, Status Quo, Dave Edmunds, Andy Fairweather-Low, etc.
Bob introduced James to the band in July 2006 after a chance
meeting that seemed to be the hand of fate. James really surpassed
himself late in 2006 by managing to play a gig, without missing
a beat, with the wrong foot as he had fractured his “bass
drum” foot in a fall. (While this clearly demonstrates
the high standard of James' abilities, it also unfortunatly
points out the stupidity he showed by failing to stay on his
feet in the first place). |
